Contribute

If you want to help the project through contributions you can do so here. We are not a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit at this point so the contributions are not tax deductible but they will be helpful to both the girls directly and to offset the growing operational costs of the project. You can contribute in 2 ways either of which will allow a one-time contribution or you can choose to create an automatic monthly contribution…

Operational Expenses:

The costs of maintaining a website, mailing tools & facilities, computer equipment, printers, paper postage, etc. add up faster than you think. The fund is also going to be used to help with other unforeseen expenses and even to provide some short-term work for the newly released women doing little jobs for the project as an opportunity to earn a little starting income while they look for regular employment. This project will not survive if we have to take everything out of our own pockets so if you would like to share the load with us, use the button below for our Operational Expenses fund.

Emergency Trust:

One of the other ways to help financially is to help us build an emergency trust. One of the guiding principles of the 2 Pillars Project is to build accountability and self-sufficiency as characteristics essential to success on the outside and so we have important guidelines against direct financial support. That tends to foster dependency which is contrary to our goals but there are times when they are going to need some money in emergencies. The purpose and principles of this fund is to have a cash reserve where we can provide short-term cash assistance for things like rent before they have completed a pay cycle at their job when they are first released. The money is an advance that they are expected to reimburse the fund when they get some income from their own job. This “pay it forward” approach will help build an attitude of self-sufficiency and compassion for those that follow. You may use the button below to contribute to the Emergency Trust.
