Joyce’s Blog

Joyce is one of our superstar Transformees. Since being released from prison earlier this year she found a great transition home and has already graduated to a new phase in their program with upgraded housing and has also upgraded her employment with a job that she’s really enjoying and making more money than with her starter job when she first arrived at the transition home. Joyce is a genuine delight to work with and we’re glad to have her as part of our family. She has such a great attitude and we know she is going to have a great life moving forward and putting her past behind her.

Following is a list of her recent blog articles with a title and excerpt but you can choose the (more…) button to read the entire article.

The experience was heartwarming and so long overdue and I have to say had it not been for the grace of our heavenly father I certainly felt his love that day. The greatness of this all is that I had not even left the prison yet and my life was really about to change, and my mentors were right there in the front seat of the car, looking back I think, WOW.

Getting ready to be released from prison in itself is a scary and exciting time. Being unsure of what the world is about to offer after having been in a time out and away from society is an unsettling feeling. Having had contact with Cindy via letters and the love and support that she and her husband Tom was comforting, just to know that there was someone that I could count on to help me as I was about to come back from a 5-year sentence was nice.
